Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary and/or specialty care services. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting physical examinations, recording medical histories, developing care plans, administering diagnostic tests, and delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses, both independently and in collaboration with healthcare teams.

• Perform physical examinations, obtain detailed medical histories, and maintain accurate patient records.

• Provide treatment for common conditions such as upper respiratory infections, minor wounds, sprains, and other non-emergent conditions.

• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging studies to inform treatment plans.

• Administer or prescribe appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions.

• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and casting.

• Identify and triage more serious health conditions, referring patients to emergency or specialty care as appropriate.

• Immunize patients against preventable diseases.

• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and lifestyle modification.

• Coordinate care with other medical providers, including referrals to specialists when necessary.

• Ensure all care delivered meets established clinical guidelines and quality standards.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification :

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program.

• Current and valid New York State Nurse Practitioner License .

• National Board Certification from one of the following:

  • American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)

  • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Experience :

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care settings such as ER, ICU, urgent care, or critical care (preferred).

• New graduate Family Nurse Practitioners are welcome and encouraged to apply .

Preferred Skills :

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
