Technical Talent Resource Manager @ A-V Services, Inc. | Audio-Visual Production A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple Fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical, and computing industries, is seeking a Freelance Audio/Visual/Multimedia Technician for on-site support. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, with an emphasis on supporting the corporate sector, and comprehensive audio-video skills. A preferred candidate would possess an associate's degree in a technology-related field and/or at least 3 years of relevant experience supporting AV systems in the industry. Our company is looking for individuals who have a thorough understanding of all areas of the AV field, including but not limited to: Operation and troubleshooting of AV equipment and systems such as switching, routing, and interfacing technology Videoconferencing and audio-conferencing technologies Key requirements include: Technical knowledge of AV and IT systems Up-to-date awareness of AV and IT technologies and their features Ability to operate digital audio consoles (A1) for live events Ability to read and interpret AV system flow diagrams and support documentation Additional skills and qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail Possession of technical AV certifications such as CTS is a plus Proficiency in using personal computers, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook A professional and positive image Ability to remain calm under pressure Experience operating AV technologies for events such as town halls, conference room meetings, and video conferences (including Telepresence) Ability to work effectively with an onsite AV team daily Our inclusive hiring policy: We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability.
