We have openings in our Tulsa office. The role of a Health Information Tech requires a High School diploma or equivalent- Minimum of six (6) months of prior experience in a clinical environment working with electronic medical records preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills - Basic mathematical alphabetizing skills - Good Microsoft Office skills - Good organizational skills - Demonstrates courteous manner on telephone and in person - Ability to address job duties with numerous interruptions.
The starting hourly rate for Health Information Tech is $18.00

Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma provides mental health and substance abuse treatment, physical health care management and wellness services for over 5,000 children and adults annually. We are Oklahoma's only community mental health center certified in the Sanctuary model of care. Using this model, the agency provides trauma-informed care helping to create an environment of safety, identify and manage emotions, process loss and help clients create a future of growth and change. Due to tremendous growth, we are hiring a Health Information Tech at our Tulsa location. As a member of our CRS team, you will have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for our patients by delivering one-on-one clinical guidance and support.

Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to move from location to location, bending, stooping, lifting 25 pounds, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present information to other employees, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data to various programs. Must be able to climb stairs and access non-handicapped equipped residences/facilities.
