Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a
HR Manager for a forward-thinking and values-driven organization based in Long Beach, CA. This role is
hybrid , with four days onsite and one remote workday each week.
POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Manager to support and lead key HR functions, contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and ensure alignment between HR practices and organizational goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape employee engagement, compliance, and development initiatives within a collaborative team environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding
- Guide and support staff and leadership on HR policies, compliance, and best practices
- Champion employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building programs
- Maintain HR systems, records, and compliance with applicable laws
- Analyze and report on key HR metrics to inform leadership decisions
- Collaborate on learning and development initiatives that promote growth
QUALIFICATIONS: - Proven experience in human resources leadership or management
- In-depth understanding of employment law and HR compliance
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This contract-to-hire position offers an hourly pay rate of
$66-$68/hr .
