Description

We are looking for a passionate and creative Bartender to join our King of Pops team. As a Bar Slinger, you will be responsible for crafting Pop-tails, milkshakes, floats, slushies, soft serve cones, and providing exceptional customer service. Our company purpose is to create Unexpected Moments of happiness (UMoHs) for our customers, and we are looking for a bar slinger that shares our enthusiasm for fun and innovation.

Principal Job Functions:

• Prepare Pop-tails and other beverages according to King of Pops recipes & standards
• Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming environment for all guests
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking when needed to ensure uninterrupted service
• Handle credit card transactions through provided Point of Sale
• Engage with guests to promote the menu and specials, upselling when appropriate
• Carry out opening and closing duties, including setting up the bar, organizing your space, and cleaning up after service
• Address/resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Stay informed regarding the menu offerings to provide accurate information to guests
• Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures, recipes, and customer service
• Ensure responsible alcohol service, monitoring guest intoxication levels
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service and operations

Requirements

Requirements:

• No prior education or experience is required.
• Able to lift 15 lbs.
• Able to stay on your feet for hours at a time.
• Regular availability & commitment to at least 8 shifts/month.
• Enjoys interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Come with an open mind, open heart, and a willingness to get sweaty and learn!
• Love pops!
