Overview
Oversee all phases of the development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition and support. Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help organizations achieve their goals. Follow best practices and project guidelines in all cases including the use of source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches and proper documentation practices. Perform and/or participate in design sessions to develop API solutions using MuleSoft.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the development life cycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition and support.
- Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help organizations achieve their goals.
- Follow best practices and project guidelines, including source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches, and proper documentation practices.
- Participate in design sessions and API development using MuleSoft.
Qualifications
- 8 years of hands-on experience architecting, leading and delivering solutions related to enterprise integration, APIs, service-oriented architecture.
- 2 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft ESB, CloudHub and API Management.
- Strong understanding of Mule ESB architecture with experience of server administration and deployment On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid.
- Understanding of architectural concepts for MuleSoft implementations including encryption, security, logging, scalability, clustering and securing solutions.
- Ability to design and develop MuleSoft APIs, write RAML and formally document architecture and design specifications.
- Experience with a breadth of MuleSoft inbound/outbound connectors (e.g., Web Services, File, Database, Salesforce, JMS, AWS services, etc.).
- Experience orchestrating complex use cases involving multiple systems, with error handling and logging.
- Strong knowledge of EA/ISOA best practices, development methodologies and standards.
- Strong experience in application development using Mule ESB, SOA/EAI technologies and API management (MuleSoft ESB Enterprise Edition, CloudHub).
- Demonstrable understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML and JSON formats, document schemas, protocol and underlying internetworking concepts.
- Experience with integrating ERP systems such as SAP or SAP S4 HANA is a plus.
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Maven, Jenkins, Subversion, Git and/or comparable toolsets.
- Experience with Java/JEE programming/development.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues and defects.
