A Medical Practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team and provide care at a skilled nursing facility in  Springfield, MO.

Duties:

    Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a respectful, professional manner.

    Collaborate with physicians by identifying patient care issues, providing clinical insights, and implementing directives.

  • \n
  • \n

    Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including interviews, physical exams, and medical history reviews.

  • \n
  • \n

    Document all patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in medical records.

  • \n
  • \n

    Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound management.

  • \n
  • \n

    Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, wellness, and health maintenance.

  • \n
  • \n

    Develop and implement patient management plans to ensure continuity of care.

    \n
  • \n
  • \n

    Maintain compliance with infection control policies and legal requirements.

  • \n
  • \n

    Participate in professional development activities and contribute to team growth and education.

Requirements:

  • \n

    Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required.

    \n
  • \n
  • \n

    Demonstrated skills in clinical assessment, health promotion, infection control, medication administration, and pain management.

    \n
  • \n
  • \n

    Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

    \n
  • \n
  • \n

    Commitment to self-development and staying current with professional standards.

    \n
  • \n
  • \n

    Experience in hospital or skilled nursing settings is preferred but not mandatory.

    \n
