BigBear.ai is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA)/Tester to support a team of software developers and engineers in building a full-stack web application on AWS. The role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of the application through rigorous testing processes and collaboration with the development team. What you will do Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution Review application requirements and technical documentation to identify test cases and test data needs Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Identify, document, and track defects and issues using defect tracking tools Collaborate with developers to understand the cause and resolution of defects Provide feedback and recommendations to developers and stakeholders on software usability and functionality Mentor and oversee junior test analysts to ensure the growth of next-generation technical resources Participate in test team meetings, discuss progress, and troubleshoot issues Support developers and clients on testing-related inquiries What you need to have Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 8 years of experience; Master's Degree and 3 to 6 years of experience; PhD and 0 to 3 years of experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience). Clearance: Must maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance Develop comprehensive test plans to ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives Conduct thorough requirements analysis to identify testing needs and prioritize test coverage Design and document detailed and effective test cases to validate functionality and performance Execute test cases across manual and automated environments to identify defects and ensure quality Log and analyze defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution and continuous improvement Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to optimize testing processes and enhance efficiency Apply Agile methodologies to align QA activities with iterative development cycles and sprint goals Define and enforce quality assurance processes and strategies to uphold software reliability and user satisfaction What we'd like you to have Experience with AWS services and cloud-based applications Familiarity with performance testing tools like jMeter and LoadRunner Knowledge of database monitoring and software development concepts Proficiency in using test management tools like Jira About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
