Position Overview: Foot Patrol, CCTV Monitoring, and Access Control.

We are hiring Full-time Security Officers for CommonSpirit: CHI Health, Nebraska Heart Hospital at 7500 S 91st St in Lincoln, NE.

Job Details:

• Pay Rate: $23.00 / hour
• Schedule: Evening and Overnight Shift Available
• Duties: You will maintain the facility's security by checking in visitors, vendors, and contractors. In a hospital environment, you will also conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols (interior and/or exterior). Additional duties include controlling access and egress, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, composing reports, and deterring criminal activity and misconduct. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and security.

• Experience: Must have 2+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, or security. (REQUIRED NO Exceptions)
• Skills: Must have excellent skills in using technology devices.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, stand for extended periods, work in various weather conditions, and obtain required vaccinations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
