An established law firm in San Diego, CA is seeking a Senior Real Estate Attorney to lead high-stakes transactional matters involving acquisitions, development, leasing, and financing. This partner-track position offers leadership of complex projects and direct involvement with a sophisticated real estate client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee due diligence for acquisitions, sales, refinancing, and joint venture structures

• Draft and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, easements, and development agreements

• Advise on zoning, land use entitlements, environmental issues, and permits

• Coordinate closings and resolve title, survey, and escrow issues

• Structure and document real estate financing, including construction and permanent loans

• Manage relationships with lenders, title companies, brokers, and agencies

• Supervise junior attorneys and support staff in real estate legal workflows

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in real estate law

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active and good-standing member of the California State Bar

• Demonstrated success managing complex transactions from start to finish

• Strong drafting, negotiation, leadership, and project management skills

• Knowledge of real estate finance, land use, and regulatory compliance
