This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.25 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Office of State Human Resources. This position is located at 333 Fayetteville St, Raleigh, NC 27601.
The employee will be responsible for assisting the employee relations (ER) staff by responding to agency grievance and discipline questions, reviewing Final Agency Decisions and settlements, reviewing RIF plans, monitoring Investigatory Leave with Pay (ILWP) requests, and developing and conducting ER training as needed.

• Must have experience and be knowledgeable in employee relations
administration programs.
• Experience in providing analysis, best practices, and theoretical
feedback in employee relations with managers.
• Experience with NC State Government policies and procedures,
including NC University systems.
• Experience with generating and analyzing disciplinary and grievance
reports.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Some state job postings say you can qualify by an "equivalent combination of education and experience." Bachelor's degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and 2 years of experience required; or
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
