Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to support student learning and growth within a vibrant K-12 school setting located in Kansas City, KS. As a paraprofessional, you will play a critical role in assisting teachers and helping students achieve academic and social success throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to students under the supervision of certified teachers
• Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
• Offer individualized attention to students needing extra help
• Help prepare instructional materials and support lesson plans
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
• Support students with special needs, as applicable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in educational settings, particularly with children from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow direction while working collaboratively within a team
• Patience, enthusiasm, and dedication to fostering student development
• Understanding of classroom technology and tools is a plus

Location: Kansas City, KS
Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
