This position offers steady, full-time hours, a supportive training period, and the opportunity to work independently in the field. Location: Albertville, MN

Wage: $18/hr.

Hours:

Training Schedule:

• Week 1: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Weeks 2 & 3: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Regular Schedule (Post-Training):

• Rotating 1st shift schedule
• 10-hour days / 40 hours per week

Duties of the underground utility locator:

• Accurately locate underground utilities using specialized equipment
• Read and interpret utility maps and blueprints
• Mark utility lines in compliance with local and state regulations
• Communicate effectively with contractors, homeowners, and team members
• Maintain accurate records of completed work

Requirements of the underground utility locator:

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Previous locating or construction experience is a plus
