Job Description

Join a full-time role supporting a 6th-grade emotionally disabled (ED) classroom in a middle school setting located in Mesa, AZ. This contract position spans a full semester and offers a caseload focused on 1:1 support, providing a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on students' educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated one-on-one assistance to 6th-grade students with emotional disabilities
• Collaborate with experienced educators trained in the instructional model to deliver tailored support
• Utilize on-site coaching resources for continuous professional development and individualized guidance
• Implement strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adapt interventions to meet their unique needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience working 1:1 with students, ideally within middle school or emotionally disabled classrooms
• Strong understanding of emotional disabilities and appropriate educational interventions
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment alongside seasoned colleagues
• Commitment to student growth through personalized support and adaptive instruction
• Flexibility to start immediately and fulfill a full-semester commitment

Location: Mesa, AZ Middle School

This position offers a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing stability and focus in a supportive educational environment. Compensation is competitive, aligned with experience, and close to $20.00 per hour.
