In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and transform raw data into meaningful insights using the Microsoft Power BI platform. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports based on business needs. Connect to various data sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, etc.) and transform data using Power Query and DAX. Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring data accuracy and usability. Optimize report performance and ensure best practices for data modeling and visualization. Maintain and troubleshoot existing Power BI solutions. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure seamless data integration. Implement data security standards and row-level security (RLS) as required. Document processes, data models, and report specifications for internal use. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development. Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M Language). Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and working with large datasets. Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with the Fabric platform and semantic data models. (Ben/Alex add) Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable visualizations. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse). Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.) is a plus. Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate) is advantageous. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or related certification. Experience with Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations data. Experience with DevOps and ADO a plus. Experience with Power Platform a plus. Experience building paginated reports in BI/Fabric a plus. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
